When you arrive through an affiliate link, the referral code remains only in the current URL and session storage until you accept cookies. If accepted, we validate the code, record a consented visit, and store an encrypted, signed attribution cookie for up to 30 days. The most recent valid referral replaces an earlier one.
We do not retain an IP address, user-agent string, or full referring URL for affiliate attribution. Rejecting cookies removes pending referral information and clears any affiliate attribution cookie.
Affiliate tracking will not be activated in production until this disclosure and the associated program terms have completed external privacy and legal review.
